Women's Roles in the Business Family

Margaret-Jean Mannix I feel women have more of a choice today about can I stay home and be that primary caregiver, or work part time, or find some other solution. I think we have more creative opportunities before us for how we participate. The appreciation for the different roles that women can play is increasing, the appreciation for support on a variety of levels, and I find in family business people can lose themselves, and lose sight of what’s meaningful for them and what’s valuable for them and try to fit other molds, and I think the healthiest family business are the ones that can integrate and build upon the individual dreams.
