Nanon de Gaspé Beaubien-Mattrick is President and Founder of Beehive Holdings, an angel investment firm with a sweet spot for companies addressing challenges and opportunities associated with products and services mostly used by women. Since 2012, Nanon has been an active angel investor and has invested in Allocadia Software, Butterfly Health, Class Pass, Download, Joyus, Livestar (acquired by Pinterest), and Rave. Nanon is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Allocadia Software and the de Gaspé Beaubien Family Foundation.

Francois de Gaspé Beaubien is the youngest son of the de Gaspé Beaubien family. In 2003, Francois acquired Zoom Media, an indoor advertising company, and is currently Chairman and Chief Coaching Officer. He is also Executive Chairman of the Board of Ayuda Media Systems, Chairman of Sava Transmedia, as well as a Board member of the Traffic Audit Bureau (TAB) and the Digital Places Advertising Association (DPAA).

Margaret-Jean Mannix is Co-Chair of Business Families Foundation. She is also Chairman of Loram 99 Corporation where her responsibilities tend to the strategic planning of the family office and the family council. With ongoing involvement in her own family business since 1995, she has gained valuable experience managing teams and adapting to cultures around the world when exploring opportunities for growth.

Patricia Saputo is Chief Financial Officer of Placements Italcan Inc. In her role, Patricia manages her immediate family’s “Family Office". Her specialization is in the domain of investment holding companies, personal and corporate tax, and Estate/Succession planning which includes investment planning, will planning and life insurance planning. She is developing expertise in the area of managing wealth as it is distributed to future generations so they become responsible stewards of their own wealth.

Nathalie is also President of the advisory committee of the Rémi Marcoux Entrepreneurial Track, a member of the committee of the Carmelle and Rémi Marcoux Chair in Arts Management and a Governor of the École des Hautes Études Commerciales of the Université de Montréal. She is a member of the advisory committee of Tandemlaunch, a fund that scouts, accelerates and commercializes early stage technologies from the world’s top universities in close partnership with major consumer electronic brands.

Sumitra Aswani is executive director of Singapore-based Ishk Tolaram Foundation, an affiliate of her family’s fourth-generation consumer goods business, Tolaram Group. Sumitra’s role with Ishk Tolaram Foundation is concentrated in Africa, where she works with vulnerable communities. Active within the FBN, Business Families Foundation and Nexus, Sumitra previously practiced clinical medicine.

Veronica has over 10 years of experience in the family office and family business arena since becoming the Execuctive Director of GEM (Grupo Economico Maldonado) Family office, which has offices in Caracas and Miami. Prior to that she worked in non-family companies based in Tokyo and Connecticut. She has extensive experience in cultural and corporate structures in the US, Japan and Venezuela and speaks English, Japanese and Spanish. She is the president of La Compañia Humana foundation,which supports education and environmental awareness.

Brandt and his family are the perfect example of what happens when a family business stimulates entrepreneurship. His hard work and dedication doesn’t stop at London Drugs: he also owns London Air Services, an executive private jet and helicopter service catering to a large range of clientele.

Antoine is an active member in his entrepreneurial family, which is at the head of several businesses known as “Groupe Auchan”, in France. Antoine has contributed immensely to the Association Familiale Mulliez and was elected at the Mulliez family board to concentrate fully on the AFM in two fields. First, as Chairman of the family equity fund, “CreAdev”, which promotes an entrepreneurial spirit in young family or non-family entrepreneurs with the goal to help develop the AFM portfolio and secondly, to help develop the “affectio societatis” (shareholders’ desire to work together efficiently in the long-term) through training and education. His work continues to impact his family, community and the economy immensely, all through initiatives driven by innovation and education. Antoine is also a proud new member of Business Families Foundation’s board of directors.

She played an impactful role at the beginning joining the Business Development Team, and later taking on managing the department. In 2014, Breanne transitioned into overseeing BRITTs accounting, financials and marketing. She has a passion for leadership growth, strategy and numbers, especially those involved with BRITT’s cash.

He is also a minority owner of the newly awarded NHL franchise in Seattle, and a co-investing partner of both TPG and Apollo in a number of investments, and he is part of the Stephen Bronfman led group trying to bring Major League Baseball back to Montreal. He is also a committed philanthropist with his wife Anne-Marie who are together actively involved in a number of causes in the areas of education, health care and water, through the Mitch and Anne-Marie Garber Foundation.

Andrew Molson is today the majority shareholder of RES PUBLICA Consulting Group, a holding and management company of professional services firms offering a full range of communications services to a wide range of businesses.

Helen Antoniou is an executive coach for corporate leaders and their teams, as well as family business owners and their successors. She is the author of the Globe and Mail bestseller, Back to Beer… and Hockey: The Story of Eric Molson, a business biography of her father-in-law and past chairman of the Molson Coors Brewing Company, published in May 2018.  Helen is also a volunteer board member in the areas of health, education and the arts.  She is member of the International Coaching Federation and holds degrees from McGill University, Université de Paris II – Assas, and Harvard University.

After receiving B.A., M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Columbia University in the U.S.A., he taught at the Columbia Graduate School of Business. Ivan was a professor of organizational behavior at the Yale School of Organization and Management; he has consulted with complex family businesses in the USA, Canada, Asia, Europe and Latin America.  He was one of the founders of the Family Firm Institute (FFI) and the first editor of its professional journal, the Family Business Review. He is on the faculty of the Governing the Family Business Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and founded the consulting firm Lansberg, Gersick & Associates to help families and their enterprises succeed from generation to generation.

Howard H. Stevenson is the first Professor emeritus of Sarofim-Rock Baker Foundation, established in 1982 to provide a continuing base for research and teaching in the field of entrepreneurship. He is a former Senior Associate Dean, and the Director of Publishing, and Chair of the Harvard Business Publishing Company board. He was Vice Provost for Harvard University Resources and Planning and Senior Associate Provost from 2005-2007. As Senior Associate Dean and Director of External Relations at Harvard Business School from 2001-2005 he led the successful capital campaign. From 1999-2001 he served as Chair of the Latin American Faculty Advisory Group.
