Rachel Kiddell-Monroe is passionate about social justice and finding ways to show humanity and solidarity for people and our planet, using her background as a lawyer and activist. Most recently, Rachel founded SeeChange Initiative, a non-profit organization based on principles of community empowerment and solidarity. After working for several years with grassroots and indigenous organisations in Indonesia, Rachel joined Médecins Sans Frontières. She headed emergency humanitarian missions in Djibouti, Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda in the 1990s. After many senior management position with MSF, Rachel has most recently served as a Director on MSF's International board. Rachel is also the founding President of Universities Allied for Essential Medicines and remains on the advisory board. In 2013, Rachel was invited to be a Professor of Practice at McGill University where lectures on humanitarian action.
