Nikitasha Kapoor recommends getting outside perspectives to keep your business innovative.
So what are certain things that a lot of companies or a lot of start-ups that can do in terms of continuously bringing innovation into their company is to ask people that probably don’t know about your company yet maybe go out and speak to people that have not heard of your company, that have not heard of the industry maybe, perhaps, and talk about the needs and wants that you are satisfying, you know, hey, this is my company, this is what I’m doing, what do you think about it? Even asking that one big question, that other person, the person that you are asking will actually be enticed to ask more questions like, what do you mean by that, like, what is it that you are doing? So just sort of starting off broad, going to someone that you don’t know and just validating your idea constantly, somebody gives you reassurance, and if not, it also gives you doubt in what you are doing and then you get to improve it, so there’s always a good and bad thing that comes out of it. That’s one of my advices, ask people you don’t know.
