Julia Raphaely talks about how the entrepreneurial spirit carries into the next generation.
Is a 2nd generation family business entrepreneurial? Or does an entrepreneur have to be someone who takes an idea from nothing? And what I, having gone through that process, realized is the only way I can measure the success of our business is to look at which ideas we’ve taken and made work for our business, and grow the bottom line and grow ultimately the value of the business, so it’s entrepreneurial thinking and innovation that’s kept us where we are today. However, we had an opportunity, there is no doubt, in the beginning and then we made it bigger and better, so entrepreneurship is, real true entrepreneurship requires a lot of hard work, it’s not as easy as people think.
