As the rising generation fills roles that are new to them in the business, it is important for them to build confidence to successfully contribute to the company.
There are challenges that depend on the different phases they are facing, right? So in the preparation phase they have their own challenges, even before, so they have the challenge to decide, is that my vocation? So do I do that because I believe this is good for me? Do I do that because I want to help my family and I think this is my responsibility? So sometimes, making that choice because it’s clear for them that this is not my path but this is good for the family and I choose to do that, that’s a challenge itself. It’s important to help them on the skill development, right, because if you think about even before managing, having the challenge of managing the company and the ownership, you have to manage yourself to grow as an individual, so the emotional maturity piece is a big one, where I think that we kind of take that for granted. So that’s something I usually also recommend and suggest to work on yourself. Because now-a-days in terms of help, the challenge is when you really don’t have, to me, it’s something difficult and you don’t know where to turn to find the solution, right, so yes, it can be a challenge, the idea of getting ready for the position you have to cover, but if there is a lot of help that allows you to do that, that’s easier.
